Building a Pipeline of Tanzania’s Future Leaders
UBORA is building a pipeline of leaders in Tanzania to equip its people with the capabilities of solving their own internal problems.
The pipeline is addressing the education crisis, eliminating the reliance on foreign aid, and becoming a model of Christ-centered leadership to the African continent and a place where even the most vulnerable populations will thrive.
HISTORY
Two decades ago, UBORA began to invest in Tanzania, caring for widows and orphans, supporting pastors, providing food and medical relief, building a school, and earning the trust of key leaders in the nation.
PROBLEM
But Tanzania remains impoverished, because an education crisis and over reliance on foreign aid has stunted the development of enough servant leaders to solve the nation's pressing problems.
POTENTIAL
A steady stream of trained leaders could leverage the country's many existing advantages and give Tanzania the key to begin rapidly transforming into a thriving nation.
PURPOSE
For this reason, UBORA has built a strategic pipeline to prepare its graduates to solve Tanzania's internal problems, and to place them in positions of local and national leadership to realize their nation's potential.
RESULT
This pipeline of UBORA-trained graduates in leadership roles gives Tanzania the key to becoming a place where even the most vulnerable people flourish, and to being a model to the African continent of how servant leadership can transform a nation.
Learn how two worlds became united as one, now called UBORA…Swahili for excellence.
