Collins turned 7 years old last July and is now in 2nd grade at the UBORA Primary School in Karansi Tanzania. Collins comes from the Massawe clan and the Chagga tribe. He lives about 3 kilometers from our school. with his mother (Sesilia) and his father (Systy). He has one brother and no sisters. Collins helps with daily chores such as tending animals, carrying water, and collecting firewood, and of course he enjoys playing with his friends.

Yohana lives with his aunty (his mother’s big sister), while his parents are in Tabora. Both are farmers. Due to hard life in the village his aunty has been caring for him since he was 2 years old. They now live at Magadini village 3kms from UBORA Primary School. His mother’s name is Rejina and his fathers name is Lucas. He has three siblings Jackline, Andrew and Vanessa who live at Tabora. Yohana is almost 5 years old and is in UB pre-school. He is a sweet young boy.

Ivan has lived with his grandmother since he was 1 1/2 years old. His mother Sophia went to Arusha for a job leaving him and his other two siblings to the grandmother for care. Their names are Glory and Gladness. His father Israel has abandoned the family and provides nothing for their support. His grandmother is a farmer. They all currently sleep on the floor along with other grandchildren as they have no bed or mattress. Ivan is four and in our pre-school.

Heavenlight lives with both parents and other two siblings. Her two older siblings have their own lives with one in college She has five siblings total. Her father Jeremia is a farmer but struggling with alcohol addictions. Her mother Maria is also a farmer and the provider for the family. They live in a single overcrowded room as their mud house has collapsed. The mother now sleeps in a small tiny bed with her three children at home while the father sleeps outside beside the fallen house. Heavenlight is four years old and in Pre-School.

Godlove helps with daily chores such as tending animals, carrying water, and collecting firewood, but he loves to play football.

Neriah will celebrate her 4th birthday in April and now begins her first year of pre-school at our Siha Leadership School at Karansi. Neriah comes from the Ngoni tribe and lives 7 kilometers from our school and thus takes our bus. Neriah has no siblings and lives with her parents. Her father’s name is Msike and her mother’s name is Nemelwa. Neriah is very sweet and always helpful at home or school..
Your sponsorship provides Neriah with an academically excellent, Christian education and the mentoring of loving teachers. She will hear and see the love of Jesus every day through these godly men and women. Neriah will receive a school uniform, books, medical care and two healthy meals each day at school.
