Jason turned 4 years old last June and will join his first year of pre-school at our Siha Leadership School in Karansi. Jason comes from the Chagga tribe, one of the larger tribes in Africa. Jason lives in Karansi village only about 500 meters from our school. He is able to walk to and from school each day. He lives with his grandparents. He comes from the Matzindiko clan. His mothers name is Lightness and his father (Aristides). He is an only child, but has a lot of friends in the village. Jason helps with daily chores such as tending animals, carrying water, and collecting firewood, and playing with his friends.
