HEALTH
We are helping build healthcare infrastructure in a community that once had very little medical resources. Ubora believes that every person deserves access to quality healthcare and that medical personnel should receive training and resources which allow them to effectively provide this care. Our volunteers assist in conducting clinics at Siha Leadership School and public schools throughout the district. Other programs include a three year Community Health Workers training for the 120 CHWs in the district and delivery of shipping containers of medical supplies, equipment, and medicine.

139,000 residents of Siha district have access to medicines and treatment not previously available
4000 children have received physicals and follow up care through our village clinics
21 local “pharmacies” received medicine to distribute free of charge to villagers
